This program will help the students who want to pursue their career in Fashion Retail & merchandising & also to those who want to have an in-depth knowledge about the all the aspects of Fashion Industry, starting from Concept development till Customer satisfaction.
This course will help the students to develop a strong base & foundation of fashion designing, textile science & material exploration, which is often overlooked while dealing with courses in retail management & merchandising & then gradually focus on the manufacturing aspects which will help in production & export merchandising, & finally focus on the retail aspects such as merchandise assortment planning, supply chain decisions & retail automation.
Classroom programme will be adequately supported by Industry exposure at relevant stages throughout the entire course duration & gradually the course will move from classroom oriented programme towards self study mode.
With the emergence of organized retailing in India & the globalization, many avenues have opened from the career point of view, such as Visual Merchandising, Category management, retail operations, etc which can be capitalized by the students.
