The PG Degree course in fashion design is a two-year, full time progamme, designed to enable students to pursue career in the highly competitive and creative fashion design industry. It aims to prepare the professionals with conceptual and technical expertise to co-ordinate various activities in the areas of design, product development and management. The graduates of this course can go ahead to face the challenges and can have rewarding prospects of the fashion industry with global approach. The course encompasses creative fashion design, pattern cutting, fashion illustration, garment construction, management and merchandising, sampling, prints and textiles, research, sourcing, fashion history, cad and professional practice. The students will also gain sound technical knowledge and skill base. Emphasis is laid on the holistic development of an individual.

The programme prepares the student to pursue their career as Designers, Free Lance Design Consultants, Managers, Stylists, Exhibition and display experts, Fashion Event Organizers, Costumes Designers, Illustrators, and Pattern Makers & Entrepreneurs
